Kathleen at the Waldorf Astoria {Utah Wedding Florist}

Kathleen was truly one of the sweetest, whole-hearted brides I have ever worked with. She is the epitome of courage and strength. Kathleen is a breast cancer survivor who's outlook on life is nothing short of amazing.
When I usually meet with brides, most of the talk is centered around how perfect they want their day to be and what the decor look like. Rarely do I hear a bride tell me that, while she wants her wedding to be beautiful, the thing she yearns for the most is just being married to her soul mate. After all, isn't this the whole purpose of the planning? The Marriage. Her words truly hit home for me.
Thanks to Jessica White Photography for the images!

Kathleen's nuptuals took place at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Park City, UT. A beautiful and upscale mountain retreat.

A soft feminine bouquet was constructed out of peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, scabiosa, dusty miller and maidenhair fern.

The railings of the church were adorned with salal garlands, tied up with streamers of organza ribbons.

Ok how adorable are Kathleen's flower girls!? Instead of giving them baskets of petals, we choose to give them small posey bouquets for a grown-up feel.

The cakes were probably one of my favorite aspects of the wedding. We placed large blooms of peonies, garden roses and accents ranunculus on each of the cakes.

Red Cliff Ranch Wedding: Andrea and Sage {Utah Wedding Florist}

I adore when brides choose and colorful palate much like their own personality's. Andrea did just this! Her wedding took place in the hills of Red Cliff's Ranch. One of my personal favorite venues.
When Andrea came to me and described the feeling she wanted for her wedding, I knew I was the right choice for her! Her now husband, Sage, was a lover of beer and even does home-brewing. We wanted to incorporate that throughout the wedding so we added fresh hopes to many of the arrangements as well as draping hops on the bride & groom's chairs. So fun!

I ADORE that the bride gave her ladies flask garters. Too cute! It's such a personalized way to say thank you that represents the couple, as well as a fun gift.

Andrea's bouquet was a fun one for me to make. Brightly hued and lots of varied texture. This was achieved with mums, tulips, pods, china berries, snapdragons, billy balls, oncidium orchids, zinnas and pin cushion protea.

The sign in piece also doubled as an escort card holder, which we filled with loads of billy balls on a bed of various mosses.

Cocktail tables were adorned with various flowers held in wine glasses to keep the theme going throughout.
