This past Tuesday was host to the annual fall Women in Weddings Luncheon. This is year it was held at the beautiful Red Cliffs Ranch. This location could not have been more appropriate for the fall splendor. Their stables entertained the crowd of some of weddings greatest talent. So you can imagine my anxiety when I was asked to provide the flowers and decor. If these were Utah's best of the best I knew I had to be on my game and show what I was made of.
The turn out was spectacular and I have to smirk when I look back because I am truly proud of myself for the work that I accomplished.
So without further ado...
One of my favorite aspects of the design was the framed moss. I took dollar store frames and painted them gold for a clean modern look. I then placed moss where the glass would be, flipped it over and placed some key pieces of seasonal fruit. I love how the pear looks against the dark moss and accented with some scrumpious figs.
These wooden menus are the most unique concept in wedding suites. My dear friend Mollie with Polka Dots and Daisies created these one of a kind designs. She is the best in the business and never ceases to amaze me with her insane talent.
Flowers and elements incorporated were: Lanterns, framed moss, wooden boxes, gold goblets, tin buckets, tall zebra grass, hydrangea, two varieties of roses, seeded euc, southern cross, scabiosa, fever few, billy balls, spray roses, millet grass, fall leafs, sage, pampass grass, veronica, yarrow, bittersweet vine, celiosa, pears and figs.
