The Almond's

This weekend hosted to the Almond wedding. Jenna was a delight to work with. Kicked back and fun. Colors were bright and vibrant. Bright pinks, orange and lime greens were the palate for the perfect end of summer wedding.

We used pink and orange tulips, pink nerines, pink and orange coxcomb (love this stuff), hypericum berries, super greens and lets not forget the hot pink sweet pea.

Jenna's dad used to called her 'sweet pea' when she was young, so we thought it all too perfect to incorporated hot pink sweet pea in the mix.

How cute is that! I love when a bride incorporates something sentimental into her bouquet. It just makes it that much more special!

Bridal party flowers.

The bouquets were my fav! Black monkey tail, double tulips, green baby hydrangea, white lisianthus and an extra flair of black feathers.

Mothers corsage's were black bracelets with a yellow cymbidium orchid. Simple but has a great impact.

Grooms boutonniere was yellow orchid, black monkey tail and black feathers. Bridal party was one of the best dressed group I've seen. Both bridesmaids and groomsmen all in completely black, leaving a dark palate for pops of color with flowers.

Brides bouquet was my all time FAV! The contrast was mind blowing! With lush whites and textured yellows, next to chic black accents of black.

Manzanita

Isn't she a beauty!!! Flown in from California, my perfect little pet. OK most of you are probably thinking I'm crazy right about now, but I promise you I'm only half insane.

There are so many great pictures from Mikele's wedding that i am going to be posting them in separate posts. First post is the sign in table and table decor. My fav of all favs..........Manzanita Branches. Black branches set in a bed of lush flowers. Yellow roses, super greens, pin cushion protea, reindeer moss, white carnations and mini hydrangea; just to name a few. All adorned with some clear crystals draping from the branches.

Next are the tables. Black candle holders adorned with spheres of hydrangea, roses and spray roses. I had a part in every aspect of this event. From the food right down to the table runners.

Bridal Shower Butterflies

So I am super behind on my posting. Life's been crazy between wedding rush and moving. There is just not enough time in the day. I promise more posts later. I hosted a bridal show for my beautiful little sis back in July. This was one of the few centerpieces that adorned the tables. Pink roses, white daisy's and sheet moss in a glass apothicary.

Sister on the Salt Flats

Short post but here is a pic of my little sis's bouquet for her bridals. Her bridals were taken out at the Salt Flats.......and man is that place awesome! Bouquet consisted of green mini hydrangea, white ranucs, yellow tulips, super greens, gold rush roses and black couque feathers.
