Megan Holloway

Megan and her mom Stephanie were hands down the best clients i have ever had. They trusted in my design ideas and allowed me creative freedom. The results are always glorious when I have no design constraints. The wedding was held at The Point at Huntsman Cancer Institute. It fit Megan's style so well! Bridesmaids bouquets were left long and whispy for a non-traditional whimsical feel.

Saturday was the nuptuals of Liz and Johnny. The morning started early with these first creations....

                                         

And ended the afternoon with these centerpieces

Liz wanted something that went with the decor at Archibald's in Gardner Village as well as her favorite flower -Gerber Daisies. So fitting for Liz with her bright smile.
    Bridal party flowers were cream gerber daisies, springs of green hydrangea and golden magnolia leaf. All wrapped in the perfect shade of antique gold.
 White vases were adorned with antique gold lace and filled with antique green hydrangea, garden roses and wax flower.

These pieces were for Rodon Foods' Christmas party. Metallic red vases filled with white mums, green cymbidium orchids, red Freedom roses, berries and winter greens. We threw in a couple clear and red bulbs as well.

Previews of pics from the Blanke/Archer wedding. Let me start off by saying that Courtney and her mom Robin were SO wonderful to work with! It makes my job so much easier when I click with my clients. Courtney knew just what she wanted, traditional and romantic. We used pale yellows, creams, champagnes and blush accents to set the tone.

Bouquet was very traditional with various types of roses, classic mini callas and a few strands of lily grass. Wrapped in luxurious champagne satin ribbon.

Small glass cubes filled with hydrangea, lily grass and shades of pale yellow and cream roses were used placed in the chapel windows and after the ceremony doubled as the table centerpieces. Great way to save some $$$ Isle cones adorned the pews with the perfect shade of pale yellow.
Cakes was done in-house at the Salt Lake County Club. What a beautiful place! Staff was helpful and great to work with.

i only got this picture of the giant alter piece. It was used at the ceremony with its twin and then was relocated and used for the buffet decor. Casablanca Lillie's, curly willow, yellow freesia and rucus leaves.

Manzanita

Isn't she a beauty!!! Flown in from California, my perfect little pet. OK most of you are probably thinking I'm crazy right about now, but I promise you I'm only half insane.

There are so many great pictures from Mikele's wedding that i am going to be posting them in separate posts. First post is the sign in table and table decor. My fav of all favs..........Manzanita Branches. Black branches set in a bed of lush flowers. Yellow roses, super greens, pin cushion protea, reindeer moss, white carnations and mini hydrangea; just to name a few. All adorned with some clear crystals draping from the branches.

Next are the tables. Black candle holders adorned with spheres of hydrangea, roses and spray roses. I had a part in every aspect of this event. From the food right down to the table runners.

Courtney's Bridal Bouquet

Ok..........Let me just start by saying this........I am not a big fan of silk flowers. Although they have come out with variations that look very close to and feel like fresh flowers, nothing beats the real deal. Brides may think that silks are a more cost effective option but in reality, they cost just as much if not more than fresh.

You're probably are wondering why I am rambling on about fake flowers....... Well if you couldn't tell, the pic above is made of silk flowers. Cream Callas, Cream Hydrangea, Pale Yellow Roses, yellow parrot tulips, grasses and ranucs.

Considering the circumstances, I am thrilled with the way it turned out :)

Garden Goodies

I picked these beauties from my garden earlier today. It's is absolutley amazing how powerful their scent is. As you walk into my house you are greated by the sweet smell of lilac.Yummy! I threw together this arragement with some viburnum, lilac and a bit of curly willow. The perfect garden arragment to brighten the day.
