Women In Weddings Luncheon- Utah Wedding Florist

This past Tuesday was host to the annual fall Women in Weddings Luncheon. This is year it was held at the beautiful Red Cliffs Ranch. This location could not have been more appropriate for the fall splendor. Their stables entertained the crowd of some of weddings greatest talent. So you can imagine my anxiety when I was asked to provide the flowers and decor. If these were Utah's best of the best I knew I had to be on my game and show what I was made of.

The turn out was spectacular and I have to smirk when I look back because I am truly proud of myself for the work that I accomplished.
So without further ado...

One of my favorite aspects of the design was the framed moss. I took dollar store frames and painted them gold for a clean modern look. I then placed moss where the glass would be, flipped it over and placed some key pieces of seasonal fruit. I love how the pear looks against the dark moss and accented with some scrumpious figs.

These wooden menus are the most unique concept in wedding suites. My dear friend Mollie with Polka Dots and Daisies  created these one of a kind designs. She is the best in the business and never ceases to amaze me with her insane talent.

Flowers and elements incorporated were: Lanterns, framed moss, wooden boxes, gold goblets, tin buckets, tall zebra grass, hydrangea, two varieties of roses, seeded euc, southern cross, scabiosa, fever few, billy balls, spray roses, millet grass, fall leafs, sage, pampass grass, veronica, yarrow, bittersweet vine, celiosa, pears and figs.

Garden Whimsy Inspiration- Utah Wedding Florist

Earlier this spring I, along with my friend Mollie of Polka Dots and Daisies, hosted a lovely inspiration shoot. I have been DYING to show this darling little feature but had to keep it under wraps until it posted on the wonderful blog

Invitation and custom menus set the stage for the event. I love the spirited flowers and those die cuts are something that your guests will be sure to oohhh and awe over.

When designing the flowers we knew we wanted to it to be large and full of life. Ideally we wanted to have a large weeping willow through the center of the table, but knowing that this was not where near possible, we chose to make our own tree. By taking large branches of curly willow and accompanying them with native flowers we achieved this quirky piece. Its full, fabulous and frilly. Everything we love about floral design.

Lets talk cake. If this is not THE MOST amazing cake you have ever seen, I don't know what planet you're on. Julie with Layers Cake created this hand painted masterpiece adorned with delicate sugar butterflies and bold poppies.

Our flower girl was adorned with handcrafted flower-wings. These are a beautiful alternative to the customary basket. Darling!

Instead of a common bouquet we outfitted our bride with a fresh floral necklace. Bold blooms and striking color were the perfect compliment for this whimsical bride

Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this garden dream come true.
